The first week in October, Spencer was announced the "student of the month" in his first grade class for the month of September. Boy was he excited! He was so happy when I picked him up from school, and we had a lot of fun going through all the many things he received for being student of the month. He got a gift bag full of fun little toys, a couple student of the month stickers for our car and quite a few gift certificates for free meals at some restaurants here in town (Little Caesars, Sonic, Denny's, Shari's and Sizzler). I guess we'll be going out to eat soon. Spencer is doing very well in school and is loving first grade. We are so proud of him. Congratulations Spencer!!! Thursday, October 16, 2008
Student of the Month

I love when the kids get student of the month. The certificates sound like they are from different places this year. That is awesome. Last time we had student of the month, all of the certs were expired! Lame!! That's great new Spencer.... have fun with it!
Congratulations Spencer! What a great little guy you are. And Happy Birthday to you, Heidi! I miss you and can't wait for our next "little" chat.
