Spencer loved basketball this year. He improved so much since last year. He played better, he understood the rules more, he was a lot more aggressive and he wasn't afraid to take a lot more shots...he's a pretty good little shooter too. Every time he would make a basket during a game, he'd turn and smile at me and hold up his fingers to show me how many baskets that added up to. These 2 videos are of his last game. I had just taken him to Urgent Care that morning thinking he had strep throat, but it turned out to be a sinus infection. His head and eyes were hurting him and he was so tired, but he still wanted to play. I wish I had better videos to post for everyone to see but as you know Kyle was at the games with me which made it hard for me to even get any good pictures:). This was a fun little team with some friends of Spencer's and 2 of his cousins...Jeremy and Dylan. They had fun playing on a team together.

Spencer had his first school play in March. It was called "Dinostars". All the 1st and 2nd graders put on the musical so he and three of his cousins were in it. It was so cute. He didn't have a speaking part (those are saved for some of the 2nd graders, so maybe next year) but he did very well on every single song. He's a cute little singer!! Hear are a couple videos I took. Spencer is on the stage in the front row closer to the left. I think he's 5th from the left. Sorry about the quality of the videos...the lighting in that gym and my camera do not mesh well...ENJOY!!

Silly Superheros

I don't know what it is about the washer and dryer, but for some reason both my kids love climbing in both of them. On this day the dryer was running so they had to settle for just the washer and the cupboard next to it. They took turns inside the washer and asked me to take their pictures. They are so funny.

Kyle the Proud Painter

With the new baby on the way, we thought we might need to make some adjustments with the boys' room situation. We asked Kyle if he wanted to stay in his current room or if he would like to move to the empty room on the other side of the "jack and jill" bathroom. He said he wanted to move. I was actually hoping he'd want to move because when he was born we only had 2 bedrooms where we were living, and I didn't ever get to do a baby nursery for him. Spencer got a cute baby room, then a decked out Buzz Light year room and now has his own Race Car room...and when I say that it means he has a race car comforter and painted walls to match. I'm still working on the decor. Anyway, Kyle has an airplane comforter and wanted to help paint what he now calls his "new blue room". He was so excited to paint with Tyler and Spencer. We moved most of his stuff in the next day and he loves it. I still need to decorate his room as well so if anyone has any race car and/or airplane decorating ideas I'd love to hear them!

I know this is probably way too late to even post but I realized I never put on pictures from Spencer's Valentines Day Class Party. It was really cute and he (and Kyle) both had so much fun decorating cookies, handing out and receiving valentines. This was also Mrs. Crowson's last day of teaching before she left to have her baby. She's was gone for about 6 weeks and all the kids really missed her. We're very glad to have her back now!!
