"Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam"

Mason, Jayden and KyleThis picture was also taken on Kyle's first day of Sunbeams. My cousin took it and posted it on her blog and I loved it so much I wanted to post it too. Sunbeams has been quite an adjustment for Kyle. He's "the sunbeam" who seems to have "ants in his pants" each week. I always ask him "Kyle sit still...do you have ants in your pants"? And he gives me a strange look and says "No mommy I have nothing in my pants". He's getting better each week and I'm sure it will still be a while til he gets the routine down pretty good. I think it helps having his 2 cousins in class with him. They're good little buddies. And my cousin is his teacher....THANK GOODNESS!!! She's really patient and you need to have patience if you're going to teach Kyle anything:)

Our Little American Idol

Kyle loves music!! He's always singing a song or making up his own song, whether it makes sense or not:). He loves to perform for us and we sure get a kick out of him. Sometimes he'll bust out in song and we have no idea where it came from. He'll do just about anything to make us laugh...such a charachter!!

Men In Black

Goodlookin' little dude
Lookin' sharp
Spencer looking so grown up

Aren't they handsome!!!!!

I bought these suits for the boys at Christmas time. This was the first day of Senior Primary for Spencer, and Kyle's first day of Sunbeams. I can't believe they're both in Primary now! They're growing up so fast:( They love seeing eachother each Sunday and since I play piano for the primary, I get to see them in there too (this is also helpful for Kyle transitioning from the nursery).
Who ever thinks boys are not fun to dress, are seriously mistaken!!! I have a blast dressing these guys:-)

Jeremy, Alyssa, Spencer, Hallee and Zackary

We always have such a blast welcoming in the New Year with food, games, family and....more food. Everyone brings at least one or two things to snack on throughout the night, and we play games as we wait for midnight to roll around. The kids have so much fun together and every year I'm surprised at how they can stay up all night long with such good attitudes. This year there were 14 kiddos ages 1 year to 9 years old. It's never quiet at our family holiday gatherings:). I hope everyone had as much fun as we did!!

Christmas '08

Cookies for Santa!!
Oh how they love silly putty:)

Spencer was so happy that Santa brought him the Wii game he asked for:)

For some reason, Kyle is absolutely obsessed with playing with erasers...I don't get it! He gets Gramma and Papa's erasers out of their office every time we go over there. He got this special surprise in his stocking at their house that morning and boy was he excited...what a goof ball:)

I know this post is almost 2 months overdue but I still wanted to do it. I can't seem to get my rear in gear!!! Christmas morning is always a lot of fun. The four of us wake up at home and open presents from Santa. The boys love to see how many cookies Santa ate and how much milk he drank. After presents, we eat the yummy cinnamon rolls Tyler and I made the night before (from scratch I might add) and they are DELICIOUS!!!!!! After we are showered and ready for the day, we head to my parents' house for presents with them and my sister's and their families. Later that afternoon we gather together with the rest of our family in town for a big Christmas Dinner. It's always a house full but a lot of fun.
