Spencer's Swimming Lessons

One of Spencer's first swims across the pool

What a good "back float" (Spencer is the one in the middle)

Kyle wanted to swim in the water with Spencer so bad. Every day he would ask me, "Is it my turn?" I love this picture of his sweet little face.

Spencer is quite the "diver". Nice Form

Spencer working on his "big arms" and "side breathing"

Trying to jump through the hoop without touching it

"Life Saving Day"

Everybody JUMP!!

Mryna teaching the class a "life saving" technique(Spencer is next to Myrna in the yellow life jacket).

Graduation Day...Hooray!!

Each child receives a swimming star

This summer was Spencer's 4th year taking swimming lessons. He gets better and better as each year passes. He's learned so much from Myrna and really loves swimming. The lessons are 2 weeks long and during the last week each class has a "Life Saving Day". Myrna teaches the kids all kinds of different "life saving" techniques they need to know if they are ever in trouble in the water. A few of Spencer's favorite things about swimming lessons are, jumping and diving off the diving board, swimming down and touching the bottom of the pool, and all the different races they get to do. We absolutely love swimming lessons and can't wait to go again next year. THANKS MYRNA!!
