Laying Bark
This was the night we layed the bark down for the boys' play area. They were so excited and loved playing in the pile of bark as it was going in. It took Tyler and I a couple hours to get it in and layed out, and it was well worth it. We had a lot of fun doing it and we're all excited with the out come. So far it's been a great place for the boys to play!

Dancing
All the boys were lovin the music at this reception. They had a lot of fun dancing. Especially Spencer and Jeremy at this particular moment. I think Spencer might be trying to figure out some break dance moves in the background. How cute is he?

Kyle's Stitches
- Above is a quick picture before the stitches. OUCH!
Below is the blanket he received from the nurses for being so brave.
Kyle just recently had to get stitches in his chin. Spencer was at school and Kyle and I had just gone on a walk. I was cleaning the kitchen and heard a loud thud. He had fallen on the tile (we think the grout line) and was laying on his tummy in hysterics. I though he had gotten the wind knocked out of him. I picked him up and saw a little blood in his mouth thinking he bit his tongue. I then noticed he had a pretty big slice in his chin. I knew we'd be getting stitches that day as I had done this once before with Spencer (who had stitches in his chin at 17 months old). Kyle's cut was much bigger. After calling the doctor, we left for the ER and he ended up with 5 stitches a few hours later. What a BRAVE BOY!

Jog-A-Thon
Spencer's school had their annual Jog-a-Thon a couple weeks ago. This was Spencer's first year being a part of the fundraiser since he's in Kindergarten. He and Kyle and I went around to our family and neighbors to collect pledges. He raised over $100 which made him eligible for the Pizza Prize Party! Spencer ended up running a total of 9 laps just with his class. We came to cheer on his cousins earlier that morning where he ran 6 and 10 laps with each of their classes. He started the morning off with lots of energy but was exhausted by the time his class had finished. I'm so proud of him. They were all rewarded with fudgesicles afterwards. Thank you to all of you who were able to support Spencer. He is very grateful.

Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Well, it's that time of year again....Baseball season! This is Spencer's second year of T-ball and he's improved quite a bit since last year. His favorite position to play is pitcher. Even though they don't pitch in T-ball, this is where a lot of the action takes place. (He gets a little bored in the outfield). Spencer's cousin Jeremy is on his team this year and they've both really enjoyed that. They have some fun coaches and are making some new friends. I grew up in a baseball lovin' family so this is lots of fun for me too! Now, if I could just get Kyle to sit through a game. (or at least 5 minutes of one).

Easter
Both of the boys had a blast dying Easter eggs this year. Spencer's eggs were creative and colorful, while most of Kyle's were yellow with an occasional orange egg in the mix. We really enjoyed watching them in this process.
Spencer and Kyle were so excited to wake up Easter morning and find that the Easter Bunny had been there to hide the eggs they colored the night before. They searched high and low and discovered he had also filled their baskets with all kinds of goodies. Kyle's was hidden in the pantry cupboard, and Spencer found his in the dryer. He thought that was pretty clever. They had so much fun!
